GRAPPLING
No-Gi grappling, is a competitive martial art and combat sport that focuses on ground fighting and submission techniques. It is a hybrid discipline that incorporates elements of various grappling arts, mostly Brazilian jiu-jitsu but also Judo, Sambo, and Wrestling. No-Gi grappling is practiced both as a competitive sport and as a training method for self-defence and mixed martial arts(MMA).During our group sessions you will get exposed to various exercise drills, technical instructional knowledge and live combat scenarios.
KICKBOXING
Kickboxing is a significant component of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) due to its effective striking techniques. In MMA, fighters utilize a blend of martial arts disciplines, and kickboxing provides a strong foundation for the stand-up aspect of fighting. It’s one of the four core martial arts most successfully used in MMA, alongside boxing, wrestling, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Kickboxing in MMA is particularly valued for its versatility in strikes, allowing fighters to use both punches and kicks effectively. This contrasts with boxing, where athletes are not trained to block or avoid kicks. Therefore, kickboxers can have an advantage in MMA by incorporating powerful leg strikes into their arsenal.
WRESTLING
Wrestling is a cornerstone discipline in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and is often considered one of the most effective bases for the sport. It’s a grappling-based martial art that emphasizes taking the opponent to the ground, controlling their body, and maintaining a dominant position. This control is crucial in MMA, as it allows fighters to dictate where the fight takes place, whether standing or on the ground.
In MMA, wrestling techniques are adapted to include strikes, submissions, and takedowns, making it a hybrid grappling style that incorporates elements from freestyle wrestling, Greco-Roman wrestling, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The ability to transition smoothly between striking and grappling makes wrestlers versatile and unpredictable competitors.
